Not completely. It's still a Remington. Just on steroids! After thinking about it I'm wanting a 300win mag. If I'm not going to go with the NATO then why go lil bit more when a lot more is better. Why spend a lot of money when I can spend a whole lot more lol.

Sniper central offers a package for the 700 sps. How tight and smooth are the bolts. I handled a few a a gun store. They were quite loose. The only thing they don't show an upgrade for that I would like to see is the bolt itself. Is this pretty decent. Can I upgrade the bolt from someone else?

PTG makes bolts for the M700, but they will set you back about $300 or better.

As long as its snug. I couldn't believe a 700 I held and pulled back the bolt. I'll look. Thanks
