Default Reloading question

Anybody heard of resizing 7.62x54R brass into 8x56R. I have seen a few things about it on another forum, but they do not go into detail. Anybody have any experiance with this?

Unless I am missing something there is not way to add 3mm in length to a cartridge unless you are going down in neck size. Give me a few days to get home (Wednesday night) so thursday I will look it up in my books and see what I can find.

From what I am looking at. The two rounds no in no way similar so that negates any cross over.
