A friend had one and I was fortunate enough to shoot it a few times. I reloaded ammo for him about a dozen times, 50 at a time. Always used the nosler partition bullets in 168 grain. Seemed to work well in the action and perform well on deer. Low pressure loading gave the best accuracy.
Tried to buy it when Charlie passed away, but the son wanted everything. Last time I saw it, reduced to a rusted wall hanger. The son never shot it, cleaned or oiled it. Sad end for a great old rifle...
