Default Rebarreling questions accuracy from .308 to .338

The rifle comes in .308win, but i want to go for a .338 win mag

The rifle down below is what im probably going to order, after a while because im still looking at other custom mades. I want to take it out for BIG game hunting, including Brown bear and elk. I know a .338 would work fine on either.

The Crusader

My question is: GAP is known for its accuracy, all the way from FBI's to hunters to target shooters. However if i wanted a re-barreling job, would it mess with the accuracy?

>it has a 3/8 MOA guarantee, would rebarreling still hold the 3/8 MOA gurantee or would it change it to 1/2 MOA or something?

---it says "other calibers special order" so im guessing it wont mess with the accurcy too much...if at all.

Thanks!

If they will do it at GA, that's the only sensible option.

Having someone else do it would likely void any warranty.

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

The accuracy you get would depend on the barrel you get, and the job they do putting it on the gun. The difference between 3/8 of an in. and 1/2 in. in a hunting rifle will make no difference anyway.
