Rebarreling questions accuracy from .308 to .338

The rifle comes in .308win, but i want to go for a .338 win mag

The rifle down below is what im probably going to order, after a while because im still looking at other custom mades. I want to take it out for BIG game hunting, including Brown bear and elk. I know a .338 would work fine on either:D.

The Crusader

My question is: GAP is known for its accuracy, all the way from FBI's to hunters to target shooters. However if i wanted a re-barreling job, would it mess with the accuracy?

>it has a 3/8 MOA guarantee, would rebarreling still hold the 3/8 MOA gurantee or would it change it to 1/2 MOA or something?

---it says "other calibers special order" so im guessing it wont mess with the accurcy too much...if at all.

Thanks!:)

If they will do it at GA, that's the only sensible option.

Having someone else do it would likely void any warranty.

I hope that's how it is!

The accuracy you get would depend on the barrel you get, and the job they do putting it on the gun. The difference between 3/8 of an in. and 1/2 in. in a hunting rifle will make no difference anyway.
