Default puma rifles

What is everyones thoughts on puma rifles I was thinking of getting one in 45 LC because I want to get started in cowboy guns

I have an EMF Hartford 24" oct barrel in .44-40. Awesome rifle.

Are Puma rifles the same as Rossi Leverguns?

A buddy has the Rossi Puma in .44 Magnum, but it looks like the Puma is imported from Italy now? The current Shooter's Bible lists them under the company name of "Legacy Sports International".
