So I have a Styer M95/34 carbine that I acquired in a trade, and I'm probably going to sell or trade it but I'm not sure what a fair price for it is.
It was made in Vienna, Austria-Hungary in 1917, straight-pull bolt action, chambered in 8x56R.
Cartouche marks indicate that it was issued in WWI and re-issued for WWII. Its in excellent condition, all the serial numbers match. What makes it special is that I have the bayonet, scabbard and four Nazi marked en bloc clips (and a box of privi ammo).
It shoots great, it has a hell of a kick though. I believe privi is now making 8x56R these days, so it's not limited to the iffy German surplus.
All I can tell you is I paid $144 for my M-95 one year ago from Southern Ohio Gun with no extras. Just the Rifle.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
