Well, i worked with a guy who spent his entire time in vietnam as an MP looking for a Thompson to replace his "poodle shooter". It would seem like .45ACP would be better at making bigger holes in close targets, what with the slower round transferring more energy & such. Either one would make bigger smiles on the shooter.
Oh, the MP finally saw one guy at a range with a Thompson, yep he was high brass.
Why do i want one in 10mm? Well, in case of bears of course.
