Holy crap, that's nice!! A little cleaning and oil will really make a big difference. Clean that woodwork with Murphy's, then rub in some natural Danish oil. Will bring them back to life without harming the original finish.

Here are the others, the Winchester 77 looks bone stock but is missing a magazine (anybody know where I can find a couple??? I hear they are hard to find.  )
The Remington looks like it might be from the CMP or something? Nice sights, but they are a bit low. It has scope mounts fixed on it.

I have been doing some looking around and there are many 1886 rifles out there that are selling for north of $2000 (some are well north of that). Nice. Not gonna sell it though, I'm going to bring it in to the gunsmith to have it checked out thoroughly to see if it would be safe to shoot and then if it is make some handloads for it and shoot it!
A 45/70 was on my bucket list. I think I will put an original Revolutionary War musket in its place on the list now  .
