I think you will like it, I have a sporter in 243 that I bought 20 or so years ago, I only wish it had the original stock on it instead of the Bell and Carlson stock that was on it( I bought it used). Shoots like a dream, good deer gun.

I still haven't made it to the range with it. My timing sucks these days and it's been hot as hell.
