Higher end Parker-Hale rifles have a gold colored trigger. If it has nice fancy checkering and mahogany end caps it is most likely a 1200. Pics would truely help. I don't know of the standard length 1200 being used for 7mm Remington Magnum, The 1200M was. They were fairly high end rifles in there day.
