I'd shred some burlap and old cloth to make a coat for it, just in case you ever need to hide with it. Honestly though, it looks pretty badassed as is and will look even better with the can attached.

I've always wanted to put together a rock solid "tactical" bolt gun but dress it up in a claro wanlnut Monte Carlo stock and treat the metal with a nice deep bluing.

I love those Badger Ord rings. Those things are built stupid beefy.

Yeah I think you are right (and seems to be the consensus too). Leave her the way she is. I would probably regret throwing a coat of tan and green on her.

i just want to camo mine for the looks and that will be thecheapest upgrade for me to do. also im having trouble finding a nice am barrel for my 597, any suggestions

Try both www.midwayusa.com and www.brownells,com for Remington 597 barrels.
