I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or opinion on the remington accelerator round particularly the 30-06 accelerator. I have heard it is inaccurate or it fouls barrels. Id like to know since it would give the 30-06 varmint shooting capability, if it functions properly

Tried it years ago in a Ruger 77 30-06. Rifle shot 1.25 with 165 gr.
Accelerators ran around 2 ft for 100 yd group. It was kind of neat
watching the 4000 fps "contrail" left by the bullet.

Go to eabco.com and look for sabots. They sell everything to make your own saboted rounds, 22 out of 30 cal.
