?'s are whatcha gonna do with the gun and do you want new or old? I like the older 700's and milsurp guns, you could buy an entry level 1911 for around what your gonna spend, there's also Hi-Point, $160 + what ever your FFL dealer charges for transfer and you can have a new Polymer pistol with a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Leaves alot of room to buy something else.
I like the .40 cal Hi-point my dad has, the only problem's with it are the plastic grips slide in your hands when they are sweaty and the clip may need a little adjusting of the tabs holding the cartridges in as dad's wouldn't feed correctly until I bent the tabs a little.
