I appreciate all of your opinions, I am going to use Tung oil, hand rubbed. The hard part was taking steel wool to a new gun. I'm waiting for the 9th coat to dry now. I used 0000 steel wool after the 3rd, 6th and will on this coat then Ill put on 3 more and wet sand with 600 grit. After that I will hand rub with Meguires Mirror Glaze to take it to a deep gloss. If it is too glossy It's easy to dull it down. It is going to be my wifes gun so I'll let her decide. Thanks again.
