Opinions of the FAL Rifle

I've gotten interested in maybe building one of these, FAL rifle. I know little about them though so would some of you shed some light on them if you could please.

Thanks

A little heavy, but very ergonomic. Extremely durable and reliable. A favorite among mercenaries.

In short, one of the very best old time battle rifles ever built. I love them.:)

Thanks for the reply. Hows the accuracy with yours?

They are heavy but function very well. Like the M-14 they are very durable, reliable and accurate. The British used them very effectively in the Falklands War. The FAL would be a great rifle and fun to shoot.

My opinion heavy and its length makes it a bit clumsy its got the same strengths and flaws as the m1a. I think its the british version of the m1a.

How would you guys compare it to the AR10?

Check out ds arms. They make some cool versions of the FAL with a modern touch to them

No comparison. The AR-10 is, IMHO, a newer generation weapon, and superior in every way.
