My only rifle is a 1938 Mosin Nagant 91/30, I use the iron sights, and surplus ammo. Is that old school enough?

Well, now and again, I drag out the Model 71 and put a few rounds of .348 Winchester downrange. Then go home and whimper softly......

JP,

1903 Springfield 03-A3. Love to shoot the Old Gal! It is in great condition. I only shoot her about 5-10 rounds a year. The Bolt Face still has 80% of the finish still on it. Something about the old guns. God I wish they could talk! I know you have some nice ones!

Do you mean 'old school guns' or 'old school shooters' as in old PEOPLE?

I took my MAS 49/56 deer hunting 4 or 5 times this year.

Old school shooters. You can use a new rifle w/ irons if you can find one!
I never thought of them as old guns, they are in there prime! Kinda like me.

Old school shooters: Guys that use basic iron sight firearms, standard 3 position off hand positions, find a thrill in using 100 year old technology.
Find it works just fine!!! 303Tom, you suck! That is a great rifle.

That works. Maybe I can find a way to meet you in FLA for some pig hunting. I'll send some ammo down before hand.

I'd love to see a pic. The A3 is the bride, not the brides maid.
