It is tube fed, load the tube and then pump one into the chamber

I don't have any experience with your rifle, but here is a video. I believe this is the same rifle. The gentleman loads it at right around the 2 minute mark.

you might want to consider taking a hunters safety course. hunters safety is a low cost way to get basic firearms training.
