I had to share this old ad I found, Wish they we these prices now!

Don't remember seeing prices like this 303 $13.95, 7MM Mausers $14.95 . 30 Cal Mausers $29.95 and a lot more . Take a stroll down memory lane.

That is cool. I found some old American Rifleman mags a while back, I need to get them out and post some of the old pics and articles. They were from the early to middle 60's.

You can still read these online from the publisher.

Here is the link to the march 1958 issue, Were it has G0358 just change the 03 to the month you want and where it says 1958issues to the different years.

I remember the Rolling Block Remingtons in .43 Spanish for around 15 bucks, several of my father's buddies got them, got a .44 mag barrel from Douglas, a set of stocks from Bishop's, and had a cracker jack little woods rifle.

In 1964 there were ads in magazine for Winchester's new rifles the much despised new models that replaced all the pre 64s.
Every rifle they produced was displayed in a semi circle on two pages.
Total price for all of them was something over 3,000.00. there' were a lot of guns and you could order them, through the mail.

while I like the cheap firearms prices, I'd much rather trade for my parent's mortgage payment from 1958.....................
