I would recommend whatever you get it chambered in whatever you are most comfortable with as long as the caliber is larger than a .270. Mine is the .308, I like it, and 20

me like very much

i cant stop drooling. any other suggestions for a long range bolt rifle? good for large game?

Well after much consideration I'm thinking of getting the Ruger GSR.

I like the remington 700, but the Ruger GSR has many advantages.

It's light weight
good accuracy at 4-700yrs
comes in .308
and it has mags, each holding 10 rounds

So in a survival situation i'd prefer to have a rifle that can hold 10 rounds in a mag than 1 or 3 in the chamber. It would also be very easy to carry 60rounds in mags than 60 rounds in a pouch.

What do you guys think?
