Well, I didn't say the 10x Unertl was the best choice of scope, just that factually, that is what they shot at the time. the USMC Snipers of today have Schmidt & Bender scopes that can do MUCH more for them.
And I appreciate the kudos, but that work on The Gunney's 1911 was done by Dave Lauck of D&L Sports. Not me. LOL. If I had that kind of reputation, I probably wouldn't have 12000+ posts on here, I would be building guns and making big cash.
