Yeah they are not budget scopes but still a very good value, mine cost me just under $300 but the glass is every bit as good as any super high dollar scope I have ever seen. The Prostaff BDC is likely the best all around value on the market, I own two of them (and a Buckmaster BDC) and have never regretted purchasing either, though if I were to do it all again I would probably put a 12 or 16 power on the Savage 270 WSM, that gun will shoot the cents off a dime at whatever range you can still see it. Never lost my zero or had any complaint about them, a friend of mine has a high dollar Swarovski and he says my Nikons don't have as good low light visibility as his but I can still make out the vital zone on a deer well past legal shooting hours so that is something of a mute point to me.
