I'm afraid the .444 is a sh!t load more versatile.

Just found this post; I have one in 45 colt. Very versatile to load up or down.Loaded up she gives up little or nothing to 44 mag and can be loaded down to mouse fart loads for plinking.
In Canada these are classed as a rifle and have no restrictions.

Default Rossi ranch hand

Forgive me. I have been away for awhile. One thing I wanted to bring to everyone's attention is; For those of you who don't really know cartridges. The Rossi Ranch hand is closer to the original, loaded with.45's than with .44 mags. .45's are more like the original .44-40 than a .44 magnum.
