New to rifles
 

Hi guys Im just getting into rifles, most of my shooting has been shotguns and small caliber rifles. Im looking to get into big game hunting ex: deer, bears, hogs, etc. Like I said Im still learning about them so any help is appreciated! I just want to know what I good all around med to large game gun would be. TIA

What are you thoughts on the Savage 10GXP3 .308?

The Savages with the Accutrigger are supposed to be pretty good. The .308 is a very versatile round.

I've only owned an older 110 in .223 and it was prior to the Accutrigger models. It was a pretty decent shooter and accurate enough for a light round like that.
