The cable lock is much more secure then a trigger lock. Most trigger locks can be removed w/ more then the key they come with. About 20 seconds w/ a drill and they are 2 parts. I was at a shoot that they had XYZ trigger locks there w/ a booth. He was saying how great they where. I asked if I could try to remove one without the correct key. Two different keys on my ring opened 2 different trigger locks, both worked on all his locks. I found this out at the range one day when the guy next to me realized he forgot the key. It makes no difference, they all suck!
