I am not sure, but my sightmark is a little off on target at 100 yards when I go to 16 power, so I keep it at 10 power where I sighted it in for.

Actually you may be closer to right I think it is a preception the cross hairs are bigger. I was looking at one of my scopes going from high to low and I really had no change in the size of cross hairs.
