I've been reading some of the post about the Mitchells Mausers and most of the peoples complaint is that they are not WWII productions but were produced after that. That doesn't really matter to me, but just down the road if i get one, just wanna make sure that they are good, and can lat for a long time.
If you're going to get it for hunting, the Marlin XL-7 would be the better choice by far. It's already set up to scope, comes with bases, has great trigger, and delivers excellent accuracy-all at about 300$.
