Default Need a magazine for an R742 .3006

I've got a Remington Woodmaster 742 .30-06 semi auto and I'm having trouble with the magazine not wanting to stay in place so the rifle wont reload. Any suggestions on a reliable place to get a new magazine? Or anyone have this issue?

Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, some Walmarts, Cheaper Than Dirt, Midway USA, Brownells....

Probably the easiest rifle to find replacement magazines for.

I have the same rifle. I love it despite it's design flaws, which have not bit me yet as it was not over-shot prior to me picking it up. These rifles are good for about 1000-2000 rounds

I don't think the "742/7400/750" magazine that is sold is worth a damn. Try eBay or a local gunsmith for an "original" - it will be worth it because one of these gun's finicky little traits is clip related - if it doesn't fit tight, it just won't feed, it'll jam
