Default need help on identifying a rifle

a friend of mine has a tendency to buy things on a whim. he bought this rifle a while back and has no clue what it is or anything about the gun. any help would be apreciated.

Looks like a Paratroopers/Assault team version of a FAL or FN probably in 7.62I would imagine.

That's an FAL. Not sure what model, if there are different ones? I'd guess a paratroopers with the folding stock and everything. But for sure an FAL

Thanks for the help. I haven't ever had any dealings with these so I figures I would ask people that knew. I looked some up on gunbroker and they had 2 for around 1800. I don't know yet if my friend is gonna sale it but atleast he will know what its worth and what it is now.
