Mystery Remington
Anyone here recall, a bolt action Remington carbine, that had a ribbed barrel, a front sight that looked a lot like, if not the same, as the Nylon 66 .22. It also had an odd shaped bolt handle to it. I seem to remember the only cal. I ever saw it offered in was .35 rem..I'm sure its been discontinued. Thanks.

The action is a sought after item for it's light weight. In my experience, most of these were piss poor in the accuracy department though.

My shooting partner inherited one in .350 Rem Mag. It shoots well with handloads and is a lot of fun. Neat little rifles.

With the one I handled,if I remember right,the rib on the barrel was plastic. That seemed kinda cheesy to me. Haven't been around any skeet guns, so I don't know if that's how its done. Just seemed cheap to me.
