Good looking rifle after you got the crap off. Why anyone would have painted it black. Have one bought about 30 years ago. Still shoots good and I like it. Wish I could find another one at the price I paid back then.

What made you pick that scope? price? what?

price, only $152.00 vs. $199.99 and up.

well, couple of days ago i was at Ben Avery's shooting range.
i was sighting in my old German dog. and wow.
it's was accurate, powerful, and fun. all most finished with the sighting, because i had to go to work later that day.

i had a two misfires, the primer or powder didn't go off.
i used 165gr FMG Yugoslav surplus ammo.
it kicks like a mule but it's manageable.

(post videos when done editing them together)

once you get it sighted in and can spend some time with it i think you are really going to love it, i have one set up allmost a clone to yours the 8x57 is one helluva round it will drop anything that gets in its way!!

Did the same thing with my yugo.

Found a great combo deal on AIM scope rings and rail for $50.
Scope really helps.

no way around it, they do kick like a mule,funny how you dont feel it when you relize hey i hit it and its down!!!!!!!!! they dont get back up from a 196 grain 8x57 for being so old its one helluva round
