Default Moving to South Dakota

I know there are no magazine capacity laws in SD but what other treats should I look forward to? Coming from Kalifornia what should I get the most excited about?

The mere fact that you are moving from behind enemy lines.

Don't be surprised to see people on horse with long and short arms walk into a restaurant for lunch. My ex is from the Black Hills area and I was pleased to see how 'Old West" SD retains. There is a tourist industry depending where you are, but with 700,000 people or so in the whole state, you will know your neighbors, even if they are 10 miles away. I really wanted to move there but the job market for my skill set did not work.

I love South Dakota, great people, beautiful spaces, simple living.
