Mossberg 500 or hi point 4095?

I have asked whats better questions a million times. But right now what would be a better pick a Mossberg 500 or a hi point 4095? Shotgun ammo is widely available and less expensive than 40sw but the hi point is semi auto and is more accurate at longer ranges.

You think so. It does depend on the chock used in the mosy 500 and the shot as to how accurate or how well it patterns. Shotguns tend to be like a .22lr as far as finding its favorite lenght of shell and shot size for the needs. Also buy that mossy 500 with a slug barrel and sabot ammo 200 to 225yard heart lug shots more than likely. Full choke barrels with the right buck shoot will kill at 100yards too. You don't need to that accurate as patterns can be around 36" with enough pellets on target to drop you where you stand To many think a 20" cylinder bore with some OO buck is a typical is what you buy.

Might be more about if your going to do anything with ether more than let it set around. Shotgun with a couple barrels makes for a better all around firearm.

I agree with the two previous posters, Mossberg 500 FTW! Mine was made in the 1970's and still works fine with either barrel.

I'm a hi point fan and I have to vote mossy here.

Moss 500. I have two and also a Maverick 88 and I beat the crap out of them. They still work 100%.
