There are no ugly girls at bars at 2am, only pretty ones, and empty beer cans.
The people in this thread that call this gun derogatory names, knowing full well, people own these guns, one member posted pics of his, do you realize what you are doing? You guys should give opinions without stepping on toes.

Look at your 1st response. Hey, anyone that owns one had to figure this kind of thing could happen. Zombie ammo, Zombie .30-30. 5+1 capacity. My wood a steel holds 14+1. What would you want for the Zombie apocalypse? I can load 875 cartridges w/ a single pound of Unique. 160gr, 200, 205 you really can't tell the difference when shooting at 100 yards at a 4" Target. For Zombie melons it is the perfect original assault rifle. Lookin' purty is a plus.
I have a butt ugly firearm, an original 1st year Hipoint 995. Handles and works well. I decided when I bought it to never clean it, except for the bore. It went 15 years before I had a failure. I broke down and cleaned it.

I just shoot it for fun. I dislike the green "ZMB" on the side and could do without that but other than that, it's just a 'fun' gun to shoot and enjoy. I wouldn't be caught out in the woods hunting with it but if the world was ending and I had to hunt people, well, it would do just fine. It's a conversation piece. People like it or REALLY hate it but everyone talks about it.

cool, i have never heard anyone really review them. for some reason it looks uncomfortable to shoot.
and it may not be my cup of tea, but everyone likes different things.
many people have criticized my mare's leg, but i love it. in the end, if you like it, that is all that matters.

you're right of course. as far as i'm concerned, i was just messin with everybody....no real insult intended!
if the OP likes and wants the gun, go for it. hopefully anyone who owns the gun simply realizes i'm just joking around. if not, no disrespect intended.
i have guns people have criticized. i could care less. if i enjoy the gun, they can kiss it!

I don't care if you guys knock it. I'm okay with that. I have a thing for ugly guns I guess. I like different. I've got a gold trimmed .38 Super that people gag over:
And the ugly Hi Point Carbine too:
And my Rossi .357 is ugly with the ported barrel:
I can take it. Different strikes for different folks. I'm one Chiappa Rhino away from bases loaded of ugly...and I want one of them.

That's why there are so many different guns to choose from. Look, Accuracy, reliability are pretty common with a bunch of guns. So it's all about what appeals to the owner. I think the Highpoint carbines look like Planet of the Apes props but I still kind of want one.

The only gun I could never cotton to, (that expression shows my age ) was the Remington nylon 66. I hate the looks of that gun! Any 66 owners here! Lol.
That 30-30 needs the pistol grip to go back up before it goes back. That would sweeten the lines and make it more pleasing to the eye, IMHO. That is rarely done with wood, except on high dollar target stocks because it raises the price of the wood too high. However, in a resin mold, they can do anything they want. The AR style stock would look better if it was higher lines also. Complex lines also mean more dollars to the seller. Higher price points for being fancy.
It would give it a mad max snipper look, and negate the look of black pvc pipe done at home.
I will make a point of looking for one of these to get a closer look at. I am an artist, and lines, shapes interest me.

The Nylon 66 was an innovation far ahead of its time. The wood grain hollow plastic stock left a bunch to be desired, but it was very functional.
How about the Nylon 66 Apache? Big Pimpin'
