Default Mosin Nagant conversion

I have a M91/30 and I saw some pictures of them in which they had synthetic stocks and bipods. I have started to do research in changing mine. However I was wondering if anyone has already done this? What were problems that you ran into? I did find a stock for 35 dollars not sure if thats correct. It seems really cheap and if I end up doing it I would prefer not to buy a garbage stock. I'm also wondering if I will run into issues with the bipod being compatible with the stock since there were no good pictures of how they were attached. Any help in any way is greatly appreciated.
