The Mosin Nagant bug...
I got a M/N-91/30 M44 carbine last week. My thinking at the time was
"Hey, why not? Doesn't cost much, it's handy, and how can you
not like a milsurp which comes with a retractable bayonet?
What I never realized at the time was how much fun this thing
is to shoot. I believe I like to shoot it more than my AK or Garand.
I went out to the range to put a few rounds through it, thinking
"Well, I'll make sure it shoots, and put it away."
Over 100 rounds later, I discovered I was hooked!
Anybody else catch the M/N bug?

Yep. Just because I've had the worst time getting ammo for it

I live in MA. No gun store has military surplus, I can't have any ammo shipped to MA, so I'm going to have to get it out of state.

I feel ya' ..... I have the Arisaka "Bug" and cant find the ammo or military .30-06 brass to turn into 7.7 (I dont want the headstamp to say .30-06)
Ive only shot 3 rounds outta my Arisaka....

i got my mosin from a friend last year for 100 bucks. indeed i fell in love with it after shooting.. the concussion and deep bark are the best... word to the wise.. dont shoot it from prone. hurts just a tad. hehe
