I sporterized my Moison and reload my ammo so I don,t have a corrosion problem.

Good fun to shoot but not very accurate.

I also load mine so no corrosive problem here... I enjoy playing with them.... Our lgs has a truck load at $129.00.

Think he's talking about the standard mag. It extends to the front of the trigger guard.

The Mosin is a pre-staggered mag design. So, it stacks each round in a single line on top of each other. Since it uses rimmed cartridges it also has an interupter to keep the rims form binding during feeding.

Yes, the standard MN mag instead of the one that was cut flush on the other Mosin in the picture. The Mosin Nagant, being designed in 1891 pre dated staggered internal box magazines, as designed by Paul Mauser.
