Mosin Nagant 91/30
Is a 91/30 worth purchasing or am I wasting my money and should wait and get something else?

The answers you are going to receive will be as diverse has the people who visit this forum. I for one do own and enjoy shooting my 91/30. The key is to see it for what it is, a moderately powered WW2 vintage rifle that's longer than a hookers dream. Ammo is cheap and plentiful albeit corrosive has all get out, and it is suitable for most game in North America. If you don't mind giving it a thorough cleaning after every outing I would say go for it.

Depends on the condition. If the bore is good and it's not way overpriced, yep, they're great shooters and highly addictive.
Prices ranging normally between $100-$150 for a 91/30.
They were built to last so if you can get one that hasn't been shot out, go for it...

For $130 it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

There is a shop by me that has raised the prices on everything beyond belief. He raised the price on his mosin's to $300 for a nothing special rifle to $500 for a hex receiver. Nuts!!!
I'm going to have to learn how to say " your out of your fu@*ing mind " in Russian.
