My bolt isn't original. Oh well, got it cheap with 240 rounds of 203gr soft point non corrosive. What are original snipers worth?

Around $800.00 with original scope and mount.

Around $400.00 for a recent made copy of the original sniper, using recently made scopes, mounts and bolts on original rifles.

The original sniper rifles were chosen by the Soviets on the basis of accuracy of the rifle itself. The new made copies grab a rifle out of the box and modify it, so you may or may not get an accurate rifle.

The best answer I can give you is that they are rare enough to be worth eight times the cost a regular 9130. No one will ever know just how many the Soviets made during WWII, but the Soviets fielded more snipers then any other participant in the war. Tens of thousands? Who knows?

People who know a lot more about the snipers then I do, believe that the ones for sale on R-Guns are original. There are probably another couple of importers that have the real thing. You have to be careful when dealing with the Russians, they are not well known for ethics in business, and there is no reason to believe that they will not fake snipers. The same thing can be said of the American importers as far as the ethics thing.
