The Mosin sights are not in meters, but Arshins. An arshin is the original czars meter, it's maybe half of a foot over the conventional meter.

Doesnt that depend when the rifle was made or re-arsenaled?

All Tulas and Izzys are in Arshins.

in the manual the original mosin the m 1891 is in Arshins so is the dragon rifle and the carbine m 1910
I will edit this and post the link to the manual I downloaded for proof if you would like

I stand corrected then. My 91/30 is is Arshins though.

I'm pretty sure the first batch of 91 30 were in Arshins and then changed due to something to do with the war I think I think it's time to do some more research I hate giving false information

M91'S are arshins, M91/30's are all Meters.
