mosin nagant 44 price question
I found a mosin nagant 44 at a local shop for $200. Look to be in good shape, has bayonet and sling. I know next to nothing about this type of rifle buy my gut says the price is a bit high.
Is that price in the range or not?

I think if you get them to drop $50 off the price it would be good, I got my 91/30 for $100 with everything but just to me $150 for a M44 isn't that bad at all.

I just priced gun broker and they have a few just over $200.
I want to put a scope on it and I am going to ask if they will throw in the scope mount for free. It is $30 in the store so saves me a little.

Checked the rilfe it is a Romania 1954 model. All the an match but firm at $200 and they don't have ammo in stock so I can't shoot it for 2 weeks.

200$ doesn't sound too bad for one in good shape.
They are famous for being covered in about a
quart of cosmoline, so field strip it, before you
clean it, so you don't goop up the sling and
stock, like I did.

They're 100-125 all day long. And ammo is everywhere on the net. I wouldn't wait two weeks

I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?
