Anybody know of a good place to get a tactical based stock for em? Been lookin around, and thus far have only found the bullpup and monte Carlo stocks.. Was hoping to find more options

Not that they're worth much but you realize amy modernization you do to an MN can only decrease value right?

Define "tactical" a bit more.

I agree...
... Monte Carlo and bullpups ARE avail for SKS's... And I've seen monte Carlos's for the Nagant 91/30...

As long as you dont modify the metal and save the parts it can put back to original however modernizing an old military is just not cost effective any more. You can do a basic sporting conversion on a Mosin for a hundred dollars (plastic stock and scope mount) plus the hundred or so for the rifle but you can buy a decent new scope ready hunting rifle for $300. The big advantage to the Mosin is cheap ammo for practice but not hunting.

ATI makes some good looking stocks...I would never pay more for a stock then I would for a rifle though...
