I have a Mosin Nagant from 1943 and I was curious if I could shoot knew 7.62x54 rounds through it. Last thing I want to do is break my rifle. That would be a sad day.

As in new factory ammo compared to milsurp?
If that is the question then the answer is yes.I would say that new ammo is probably healthier for your Mosin as the primers are non corosive.
