O.K. I'm chiming in here. As far as imported Soviet PU snipers, there are so many variables. IO has the real 1940's, $800.00 last time I looked. There were a few that came from Belirous (sp) that are 1940's rifles/ snipers that were refitted w/ 1950's..'60's PU optics, then there are crap builds including hex receivers. Hex receivers were never made into a real sniper, production ended 14 years before the PE was introduced, 16 years before the PU. The scope dimentions and base/mount will tell the truth.
