modelo 1912 7mm mauser?

I have someone who wants to trade a 7mm mauser for my s&w model 916a 20ga. The only problem is I know pretty much nothing about this rifle or the round. Can you guys help me out and tell me a little about it?

It all depends. Is it all original? Do the serial numbers match? Is the bore in good condition? Is it a M93 Spanish or M95 Chilean? Has it been Bubba'd up? Some photos would help. About the 7mm Mauser round; it is one of the best out there, especially handloaded. It will do just about anything a .30-06, .308, or .270 (and/or a multitude of others) will do and will do it with less recoil and shoot just as flat.

Sporterized useless for a 1912 Spanish-Chilean Rock Hard Mauser,$125.00 bucks that's it,see what your LGS will give you for selling it,not buying it!

Sounds like it might not be a very good deal then...

$100.00--$125.00 I'll take it,the action is worth that much to me.,

Yep, Bubba got hold of this one. Too bad. If all was left original, it would be worth $400 to $800 depending on condition. Hank Stone has it right. $150 tops.
