Model 98 rear site

I have a German Model 98 in 8mm. Its dated 1940 with "code 42". I need a complete rear site. I found one but the sleeve that slides over the barrel is too small. Am I not figuring this out correctly or are there different size barrel sleeves?

You bought a sleeve for small ring. You have a large ring mauser

Does anybody out there have a suggestion of where to pick a large ring rear sight up? I have been searching high and low with no success so far (Ebay, EBang, Gunbroker, internet gun shops, local gun shop)
