I own a BLR in 308, love it. My Marlin is a 30/30 and it rocks too. Lever guns are so much fun you'll dig shooting them. About 5 years ago I bought a Winchester model 92 in .38/.357, worked up the action and put a big loop on it and that rifle is so smooth and accurate and FUN TO SHOOT!!! Lever guns are a serious addiction!!!

The 308 and 338 marlin express really interest me. I'd love to get the 338 since it will do everything my 30-06 will do, but do it as a lever gun

Well if u think about it that would be better then the ruger guide gun and instead of using the 308 the 338 express would be a better harder hitting round just a thought anyways
