new-b here, have a question about a model 70 coyote that's giving me magazine troubles:

push-feed bolt and the last cartridge (on right side) "jumps" free of the receiver guide (ONLY on right side of rifle between receiver and top of mag-well), or the nose of the round (if bolted fast, jumps up and out.

my questions:

what is going on here?

is it the magazine well that needs replacing?

is it the spring and follower that need replacing? or do both need replacing?

also, will a CRF or the newer CRPF bolt replace the PF bolt? the serial # is: G2,38X,XXX, bolt stamp is 04.

Welcome to the forum. Please stop by introductions section and introduce yourself. It sounds like the feed lips are giving you trouble. I'm almost positive the crf bolts won't interchange without modifications. Try getting another mag box or letting your gunsmith carefully bend your feed lips.
