Here you go.

My new stock

There seems to be some issues when I look down the barrel....because it seems to be leaning to the right and lifts up above the full stock and does sit exclusively in it...but it seems stable so that's good enough for me. The receiver doesn't move at all so once the scope gets on there it'll hold zero hopefully.

Now I want to shoot it...it looks so sexy in this stock.

I don't know what is worse you calling a M44 sexy or the fact that you have a bed full of stuffed animals?

Had a major problem with the gun I had to fix.

I tried to load some ammo into the magazine and it wouldn't load!....I found out later I needed to dremel out a big chunk of the stock to get it to work...which incidentally also fixed my other problem with the barrel not sitting in right.

I'm kind of pissed they overlooked such a bit portion of molding and gave me this....Should have only payed 40 dollars for it...since I had to do 2 hours of work on it to get it to fit right and sit right and load bullets.

Either way it's all good.

Next paycheck I'm going to buy my mount for it and then next next paycheck will be me sending the bolt to the boltman to be bent.

Good for you, I'm glad you're enjoying the process. Keep us in the loop.

Really I need to dremal more but I had to get back home so I did it just enough so I can slam the bullets in.

Frankly I don't see myself using the Mosin that often for man objects and only for hunting....and even so I have other rifles designated for that....so I might leave it as is and just load it with 4 and then leave the bolt closed for hunting and maybe when I have the patience...dremel more so it can load much better....I'm just glad I got it to load...I was so pissed
