Go to the cmp website or one like surplus rifles. Lots of Garand guys hang out there on the forums. Several others as well. Welcome and enjoy the forum and your M1.

Just a "heads up" GL, FYI:

When someone talks about a "bent" op rod on an M1 rifle, they are referring to an ABNORMALLY bent op rod. What ever you do, don't try and "straighten" the rod yourself it if looks bent to you. They are SUPPOSED to have a couple of slight, very specific bends in them to function correctly.
